Port to WPF and use ribbon and docking framework

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful quality-wise, the most Merciful quantity-wise

QuranCode is a complex software and it need a new user interface, I recommend switching to WPF, as it supports Office ribbon which is a great and efficient tool to organize tools and buttons.

I want to see what other people think and the owner choice ?

Salam brother and thank you for the feedback,

I agree with you the Interface too complex but it is meant as a Research tool not a normal Quran browser application. There are already much better software for that than QuranCode.

In sha Allah I'm moving development into Qt 5.2 (http://qt-project.org) and their QML language which is equivalent to WPF's XAML. The difference though is it will run on any machine in sha Allah (Desktop, Tablet, Phone, and whatever the future brings).

Another goal in sha Allah is to move into Grid Computing (http://qurangrid.com) so multiple computers can work in parallel on parts of the same query at the same time and discover new patterns within the Quran that we cannot find manually.

Allah knows all,

Ali
